EVENTS

The Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers participates in events in the City regularly. Throughout the year members, Freemen, Liverymen and their guests enjoy dinners in City Livery Halls as well as lunches.

THE MAGICAL TAXI TOUR           
Perhaps one of the most famous events is the annual Magical Taxi Tour which sees over 100 cabs taking sick  and terminally ill children on the trip of a lifetime to Disneyland Paris. You can find out more about this event by logging on to www.magicaltaxitour.com

 

THE LORD MAYOR'S SHOW
The Company also takes part in the annual Lord Mayor’s Show, joining together with many other Livery Companies to welcome the newly elected Lord Mayor of London. This year the Lord Mayor is Alderman Ian Luder.


THE CABGUIDE COURSE


The latest group of students to have
gained their badges were presented with these by The Master at the Election Court Lunch in May.



THE LIVERY COMPANIES PANCAKE RACE
The Company enters a team each year for the City Livery Company Pancake races. The races take place in the Guildhall Yard. 

THE FOUNDERS DAY LUNCH
The Founders Day lunch will be held on the 23rd June2010 at Trinity House. Tickets are still available from the Clerk
